FAQ's
GENERAL
What makes COAST Christian Academy different?
COAST Christian Academy exists to provide a distinctly Christian education where Christ is central to every subject, every relationship, and every decision. We are committed to academic excellence, biblical truth, leadership development, and partnering with families to disciple the next generation.
What does C.O.A.S.T stand for?
COAST stands for Christ Our Anchor, Strength, and Truth.
Is COAST Christian Academy accredited?
Not yet. As a newly established school, we must first complete a period of successful operation before becoming eligible to pursue accreditation. We have already researched and selected the accrediting organizations that best fit our mission and plan to begin the process as soon as we are eligible.
ACADEMICS
What curriculum do you use?
We carefully select curriculum from trusted Christian publishers, including Summit Ministries, Apologia, IEW, BJU Press, and Harold Jacobs Mathematics, to provide students with a rigorous, Christ-centered education.
Is your curriculum college preparatory?
Yes. Our courses are designed to challenge students academically while preparing students for college, careers, and lives of faithful service to Christ.
Do all students take Spanish?
Yes. Spanish is a required course for all students each year they attend COAST.
How large are your classes?
Our intentionally small class sizes allow teachers to know each student personally, provide individualized instruction, encourage meaningful discussion, and cultivate a close-knit learning community.
Will my student's credits transfer to another school?
We maintain detailed academic records and transcripts for every student. Because each school has its own transfer policies, we encourage families considering a future transfer to speak with the receiving school regarding its credit acceptance procedures.
FAITH
What statement of faith does COAST follow?
COAST Christian Academy is rooted in historic biblical Christianity. Scripture is our final authority for faith and practice, and every aspect of school life is guided by God's Word.
Do students have Bible class?
Yes. Bible is a core academic subject, and biblical truth is intentionally woven throughout every area of the curriculum.
Do students attend chapel?
Yes. Students gather regularly for chapel to worship together, hear biblical teaching, and grow in their faith as a school community.
ADMISSION
How do I apply?
Families complete an online application, submit references, participate in a family interview, and students complete a placement assessment.
Is every student accepted?
Our admissions process is designed to determine whether COAST is the right fit for both the student and the family. We believe the strongest educational experience comes from a genuine partnership between home and school.
Can my student transfer during the school year?
Yes. Mid-year transfers are considered based on available space and the student's individual circumstances.

Tuition for the 2026–2027 school year is $8,500.
